This tiny textile piece is made from denim, beads, and of course, little girl barrettes. It is framed and can lean on a surface, or be hung on the wall.

I have been collecting these barrettes for years, for not only their cuteness, but for their associations to girlhood and all that goes into that ginormous topic.
